Finished Events:

March 6^th - Snowshoe Grilling Challenge in Abington, MA

          * We came in 4th overall out of 28 teams with a 2nd place call for Rib Eye

 

March 20^th - USA BBQ Championship , Little Rock, AR      

          * We took 3rd in chicken out of 230 teams and finished 62nd overall

 

 March 27^th - Grillin' on the Bay , Brooklyn, NY

          * We took 1st Place in Ribs and had help from a former teammate Sal. 

 

April 16^th - Pork in the Park BBQ Festival , Salisbury, MD

          * We took 4th Place in Chicken out of 140 teams

 

May 29^th - Roc City Rib Fest , Rochester, NY

          * We took GRAND CHAMPIONS in the Grilling Competition

          * We also finished 3rd Place overall in BBQ out of 70 teams

 

June 5^th - Peters Pond BBQ Championship, Cape Cod, MA

           * We took GRAND CHAMPIONS overall out of 33 teams


June 12^th - Rock'n Ribfest, Nashua, NH

           * We took 5th in Brisket, 2nd in Chicken and 7th place overall out of 37 teams

 

June 26^th - Boston Hills BBQ Festival, Boston Hills, NY

           * We took GRAND CHAMPIONS overall out of 39 teams

           * We also took 3rd Place overall in the Grilling Competition

 

July 4^th - I Love BBQ Festival, Lake Placid, NY

            * We took RESERVE GRAND in both the grilling and BBQ competitions

 

July 11^th - Meatopia, Governors Island, NYC

            * We served 856 plates of competition style pork shoulder to a bunch of

               lip-glistening meat lovers in four hours and we had a blast

 

July 23^rd – The Harpoon Championships of New England BBQ, Windsor, VT

            * This was the last event of the NEBS 2010 competition season

            * For the weekend we finished 9th overall in BBQ and 3rd in Grilling

            * We took 1st place for the second year in a row for the chefs choice entry

            * Most importantly, we took NEBS TEAM OF THE YEAR for 2010!!!
